GUCCI’s new make-over: floral blooms, bomber jackets, and my new wishlist

Alessandro Michele for Gucci

A fashion-and-art lover and a bag collector myself, I am not really fond of how pretty basic Gucci was after the 90’s.  But when Italian fashion designer Alessandro Michele joined Gucci as the creative director in January 2015, playful and fun touches were added to the much-known classic brand. From floral blooms, bomber jackets, colorful embroidery, sharp lines, soft satins, and all that care-free jazz, truly Gucci has morphed fashion, paving way to creative trend-setting.

As soon as I saw collections, I really am rooting for any floral blooms handbag, slipper, and backpack! Good-bye basic Gucci. Hello fun Gucci!
